Pivotal Self-Service Technologies Updates Annual
General Meeting

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 21, 2004) - Pivotal Self-Service
Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:PVSS - News) filed a preliminary proxy with
the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on April 27,
2004 and received notification from the SEC within the prescribed ten
day period that the filing required clarification in a number of
areas. Since that date the Company has been preparing an amended
preliminary proxy which it expects to file shortly, with the SEC. The
date for the annual general meeting will then be set once the SEC has
approved the proxy material for mailing and a definitive proxy is
issued. The Company is seeking shareholder approval for various
proposals to enable the Company to close the previously announced
Phantom Fiber Corporation acquisition.
